You are right in your thinking.
I was waiting for the Galaxy pad but when I started to see and read about it's "silly" pricing I went out and bought myself an iPad.

This is true. Potential buyers won't care that the SGT is technically superior to the iPad, they will just think "Two computing tablets, this one is cheaper..."

But for the "massive" price difference it is hoped there will be other aspects other than "technically superior" rumour that will account for this silly hike in the Galaxy pad price. Pricing itself out of the market is what comes to my mind.
