Hi all, just a quick word about these two launcher replacements for TouchWiz.

ADW Launcher is simply amazing, the depth of tweaks you can make for the UI is impressive, I'd recommend it except for one currently fatal flaw - it nukes your battery incredibly badly. This has been verified by other users also, so I don't think this is an isolated problem. It drained about 60% of my battery in only around 5 hours.

LauncherPro is really nice, step down from ADW Launcher in many respects, but hopefully not as bad on the battery. Will post up my experience tomorrow when I know how it goes.

I'm hoping that using a Launcher replacement might alleviate some of the occasional hangs I get with the phone (although I am coming to the conclusion these are related to a memory leak somewhere, since they only rear their head when the phone hasn't been restarted for about 20 hours +, hopefully if its a leak its within TouchWiz and using a replacement sorts it).
