Wallpaper Resizing/Cropping

Hi, was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem, on any image i have added to the phone if i want to make the whole picture/image my wallpaper i cant as it always comes up with a small cropping box, i know u can stretch this box but why cant i have the full image as my wallpaper??

I've not had a proper play with this, but I suppose you could use a graphics program on your computer to resize the image to 480 x 800 (the SGS native resolution) ?

There must be better answers but this is the first thing that sprang to mind.

I use the sixe 1000x820 pixels for my wallpapers. When I select the area to display on my phone it allows me to select the whole picture.

Yes, for some reason it wont let you crop 480x800 images properly... but if you use 960x800 images it crops correctly... if you really wanna use 480x800 images you will have to use wallswitch app.. it will crop and apply the image for you...
