lag fix help please

installed the ryan lag fix phone seem to root ok
but i cant seem to get it to go in recovery mode for next part any help please

If you bought your phone in august/september, you might have a device that has download and recovery modes disabled... Have you ever been able to get into recovery, or is this the first time you tried?

I had a bit of trouble today doing this, make sure you press volume up, home key and power key and keep them pressed for a while before letting go - it took me three tries but I have done it now.

Download and install Quick Boot from the Market, it allows you to easily reboot into recovery mode.

Or if you have adb available you can connect the phone via usb and do

"adb reboot recovery"
