    Question VOIP Which Apps Work Best?

    I'm brand new to the Android scene but loving the new phone

    However I'm on a last minute break in Cornwall and we have no signal on the phone. Fortunately the Cottage has WiFi. With that in mind what are the best apps for VOIP in terms of;
    • Call Quality
    • Stability
    • Cost

    Any help would be great. T.I.A.

    Glad it's not just me then lol.
    I see Vonage have an offering but I've found them to be a bit hit n miss in the past, so was hoping someone had found a credible app already.

    Going to try Skype Lite and Truphone both claim to be Android compatible.

    I have tried sipdroid, it meant to be quite good but have problem setting it up. I have problem with Voip settings in general so not necessary is the app problem

    Well Skype Lite isnt compatible and Truphone is aimed at the American market rather than the UK.
    I'll give Sipdroid a whirl and see how we fair.
