Can someone please help me, im a complete technophobe and hard as I try I cannot figure out how the car mode works. It says it's automatic but nothing happens when I use it in the car and I cannot find a manual way of turning it on? Sorry if this sounds like an incredibly stupid question but it's driving me nuts!!!
It only works with the OEM car mount and I think it may be triggered by a special pinning of the usb port built into the mount. Unless someone knows better?
ooo so does that mean we have to wait until Samsung's specific car mount is available in the uk? or is it already available as I only seem to be able to find it on US sites. Seems a bit bad to release a phone when one of the main reasons I bought it for I cant use it for! Or am I totally misunderstanding? (as I said, complete technophobe!! :-))
ud also think you would be able to set it manually for use in a generic mount?
As far as I can find out it is the special USB pinning that triggers the car dock app. The official OEM dock says it does this and will shortly be available. Price is not bad considering it incorporates a USB charger as well.
