Slow boot up

Hiya , i have SGS 8gb with 16gb sd card , JM1 firmware , probably about 125 Apps installed.Music and Videos etc , No Apps are set to auto start.

Ok Turning on the phone , its takes about a good 2 minutes before SGS is fully usable , does any one have any idea's , even before firmware update it was the same.

I think it's down to media scanner looking for changes on both your sd cards.

It's a pity media scanning is not saved and then only does it on request or start of program requiring to search , but either way it should not lag the SGS to the point of not userable

Thanks for the link , a little scared to go and root at the moment , but when i get a little braver i wil give that a try Thanks
