Windows 7 x64 Connection Errors With Kies

If your Galaxy is not connecting to Kies and you are on Windows 7 64 bit then I found this to be of a lot of help... it worked for me first time..

I solved it using Kies_1.5.3.10093_82 on my w7 x64 to connect my SGS
there is a copy of this version here https://content.wuala.com/contents/S...UZSU4SpKU&dl=1

uninstall kies and drivers before try this version
