Higher Capacity Battery?

Getting the phone this week would like to know if there is a higher capacity battery out there yet?

Not yet, but give it a few days then give Samsung Customer Support a call and "complain" about the battery life, they'll send you a free replacement. (you don't need to return the "faulty" battery ;-) )

I don't think there is anything out yet... But seeing as this is a quite popular phone, I'm sure it's just a matter of time..

Ok quality thanks for the info... I was just thinking after all the mad mod's I'll be doing some extra battery life wouldn't go amiss

Hey everyone, new here. Great forum! Not got an SGS yet but intend to get one soon.

Just noticed an article about a battery accessory:

What do you guys think? Significantly increases battery life and also increases weight a little (which may be a good thing since this phone is so light anyway). Only thing I don't like is the blob on the top, looks odd.

Wow, that's a huge increase; 500 hours of standby or 8.5 hours of talk time.. I might think about this if it comes out in Canada.. I also like the idea about the replacement battery from Samsung, though probably wouldn't do that myself.

Oh no, thats horrible! Definitely wouldn't buy that. Ruins the asthetics of the phone and I wouldn't be able to use my great looking Zenus case! No no Samsung, ditch that idea!

I am not too fussed what it looks like to be honest, I am only interested in the battery life while at work so this is definitely something I will be buying. Thank you @QZS
