    Problem with Text input

    I have S2 ... open handset, standard build on Vodafone

    ver CSC LS5 (XEU) 4.1.2
    I9100XXMS2

    Prior to last Samsung f/ware update did not have the issue.
    Now when I enter text (swype) in email, messaging, photoshop app etc.... all is fine. Automatically puts in a space after each word.
    However for all web pages ... i.e any forums, etc. it does not put the space in.

    Is there a setting for this.
    using default browser.

    I think it's a bug in the swype software as I had the same issue. Check you have the latest version of swype installed or delete it and try the Samsung continuous input method.

    I had that problem with Swype and stopped using it. From JB Android handles text input fields in a different way leading to the auto space issue. There is still a problem with input sometimes not being recognised at all.

    I use Google keyboard on my S3 and Swiftkey on my Tab2, both of which have Swype-style input and auto insert spaces but neither is as accurate as Swype used to be.
    I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)
