Eclipse and Android SDK

Hi all, i am pretty noob at this and never used eclipse although i try to follow the steps in installing the SDK http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing.html.

I installed JDK and Eclipse and added the ADT to eclipse...so far so good but then in the next step (http://developer.android.com/sdk/ecl...tml#installing) configuring the ADT plugin i go to window preferences i select the Android menu and point to my android SDK directory the thing is when i press apply or ok the SDK never shows in the list below

First i tried windows 7 x64, JDK x64, eclipse 3.5.2 x64 and thought it some strange 64 bit compability but then i used the x86 (32bit) on all programs except windows and the same thing happens no SDK is added in the list below, i dont get any error or any feedback at all when i press apply.

Is there something i am missing here?

Have you ran the Android SDK setup program first?
