mik2010, to freeze the hubs (how i did it) was when i saw them open in Advanced Task Killer, i long clicked them, chose the force...

so i havn't rooted my s2 yet and i am wondering if what i have been doing is the same as "freezing" apps. i have advanced task killer and i opened the 'hub' apps and selected to disable them.

so whenever i sync a playlist from WMP or winamp to my device it changes the playlist into a .pla file of 0kb.
this obviously means that the file is empty (i checked with notepad++) and has nothing...

is it possible to set the gmail app to only sync every hour or something? at the moment i can only find a sync or no sync option. my old i8910 could set a schedule.....

i have this problem that no matter what wallpapers i use on my S2, if they arent the S2's stock wallpapers they look like crap, really pixelly and blocky.

for an example, i used the wallpapers...
