Well, of course he does... but that doesn't mean that there hasn't been any problems arise from the version update... Eg; Someone said that the latest version found that the Voice Translator wouldn't...
I don't see any advantage of upgrading from 1.5 to 2.0 or 2.1 as of yet... plus I read some people were completely stuffing up their phones doing some of these updates too...
1.5 works great so...

You might find that one the Nokia SIP app is using one codec and the Samsung apps use another.
If there's a way to change the codecs at all, try and set the codec to G729 (if available) rather...
