Surely app sizes are in megabytes instead of gigabytes? Regardless if they're packed or not... Apk is a packed file format though. ;)

A reflash would do. Is your ROM supposed to be stable and smooth? I know, most of them are supposed to be. :)
I'd suggest DarkyROM HD to start with. It's based on the official Samsung ROM and is...
So did you try to hack the file inside the phone? I don't think there should be any limitations how much an app size can grow if you copy it out and in the phone after hacking.
I'm on v12 Dark edition now. The dark/black colored theme is absolutely a good choice to the SAMOLED-screen. Besides the looks, battery seems to be a bit more durable because of that too.
...but usually the ROMs do include the root. So, after the actual first root you don't need to bother. Unless you flash a stock ROM in between. ;)
Anyone else using Elite ROM builds? The one I'm using (v10) is just too smooth and stable to be true.
This puts Sammy to shame, I must add.
Flash 10.2. RE (or JVT Base) in between via Odin. That way you'll get a fresh start. Everything works smoother after that.
Does the problem persist only when both of the phones connect to the network? Not with just one?
Try to forget and reconnect to the wlan from both of the phones. Also, the router might need a...
I've experienced the same issue with Asphalt5. Sometimes the app icon just disappears from the app drawer. In Total Commander it can be seen though...
Well, yeah... Last summer I had my SGS on my car's dashboard (in shade though) and Sygic running. The phone announced the battery was dying and I wondered why, since the usb cable was plugged in. But...
Together with your other problem, random PIN queries, I'd first try reflashing the ROM. You didn't tell your phone specs, but have you upgraded the OS and did these problems happen prior to that?...
Dolphin HD's versions 7 and 7.01 send gathered loads of information about the user and sent it somewhere (to Dolphin HQ?) They say in Android Police the newest version 'fixed' the issue.
The...
Based what I've read about problems with wi-fi, they seem to be related mostly to JVS and JVT. So I guess it's the modem that's causing the troubles. Some even use the Froyo modem to correct it...
...
:D:) Heehe. I'm so happy I wasn't included in your list either.
Sounds like a warranty case to me. The screen shouldn't get heated, not even warmed up during the use...
Life goes on... I can recommend the one I use. 1650 mAh and fits in the Classic one.
Just follow the link...
Rooting seems to have gone ok.
You need to check if the animation is compatible with the kernel. As Alison already said, you need to boot into the download (or recovery) mode and reflash the...
The newest (v3.2.0) Market app has cleared this flaw. Though you need to be rooted to be able to take advantage of it.
Welcome Yungster and Greetings from the Frozen North! I'm a bit ashamed I'm so late... :o
Downloaded the JVT from SamMobile. Seems to be ok...
Believe me, after using Android for a while, you won't be missing the iOS.
There are loads of substitute keyboards in the Market. Just start browsing and you'll find lots of everything else that's...
Well, of course Sygic is there too. But if we are talking about the free ones...
I use Sygic and I'm proud of it. :):D
Well, based on the world of pc (actually I don't have glue how Android works),I think when wiping data, you clear your sd and the file info of it. When wiping cache you delete the temporary data on...
I myself don't have either Yahoo email or FB, but reinstalling the apps might just help.
Old pc trick in my part of the jungle. :)
To me, the whole Galaxy S line is an endless swamp... There are the common ones 9000 and 9100, but also 9010, 9001 and 9003. They said Nokia had too many parallel models, but Sammy is no better....
