Downloaded Kies onto my old laptop running XP it connects via USB no problems !!! Go figure.


At least i can update now but that's not the Bl**dy point...

That's the first thing i noticed when i fired her up...The speed diff between them.

Same here.
Connects with Wifi mode in Kies every time but USB not a hope, keep getting the exact same message you do know matter what i try.

Only had my SGS II a few weeks upgraded from a SGS never regretted the move.

I would also like to know if you can Bulk delete E-Mails.

I have a G-Mail account which i use for specific E-mails i wish to send to my phone only and also pick up E-Mails from my Windows Live...

Could be a dead Battery !

If you have another SGS try swopping the Batteries see if you get any life.

If the Battery is deeply discharged it might need to be on the charger for some time before...

I can rename connecting the fone to lappy but needed to upload to You Tube a video taken today at work and could't...

Never use Kies for anything but updates to itself and my Fone, I always use the market for Apps as you say there aint much on offer anyways.

Yep that could be the issue ( MP3) although i have no problems dragging iTunes podcasts in MPEG-4 Audio File format onto the card and playing em.

Jeez it aint easy that way round !!
