I got this officially via kies wifi and its says 2.3.3 version :(
I have gone from Doc' to Darky's to Hamster back to Doc's....although I've been on Doc's kitchen rom for a while now. As long as you chose the same base firmware you'll be ok, if you wanted to go...
There could be a number of reasons for that, for example, did you try the no wipe version?
Later versions will have any know bugs removed.
@jimc130 Yes obviously making sure you have removed any lag fix if applied.
Well they're are obviously quick & smooth, easy to update. I like the scrolling dock 'Zeam' short-cut icons to Power off, reboot & recovery....just lots of little things you can do to personalise it...
welcome aboard, have fun!
lol times up gonna put doc's XXJPY V6 on :p
I'm happy as I am for the minute I'll wait awhile to see if there are other firmware releases....
Well I'm on doc's froyo v6, very nice indeedy :p
You really are having fun. Sounds like you have a rogue phone and it will need replacing sometime
soon.
Where are you at exactly, has oden detected the phone? If can give us some more info
we'll be able to help.
Installed Doc's V6 yesterday. Running very well.
I'm currently using DOC's V4 final and it is really good!
I have got 3D mode period!
Is the phone covered under warranty? If it is take it back and get it fixed. There
already some gingerbread roms out.
Had you made any changes to the phone prior to experiencing these problems? Have you tried a factory reset? (make sure you backup contacts etc.
Then it sounds like something not quite right. How did get to your current firmware, kies or odin?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=719114 some people have. I thinka couple
of people on here with Orange have too.
If you go into *#272*IMEI code# again if it is telling you that you have the right region code and thats fine. Take the phone back and simply tell them the camera isn't working.
Have you done the Screen Burn Test? *#0*# if it shows up here it was at lease confirm it and than I'd definitely contact Samsung. If not you'll know it is another problem which a firmware flash would...
I'm not really that fussed about this, the screen is too small for a start & the Samsung Galaxy S2 is out soon...
Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
1) no it isn't possible, the music cuts out when you receive a call.
2) yes, just add the number & name to your contacts.
3) It probably is but I'venever needed to....
I'd imagine it has to be Froyo.........well unless they're offering you Gingerbread :o
I can put either numbers or letters in mine....and under Postal Address I have, Street, City, State & Zip code. Are you saying these don't exist for you?
I really don't think Baked Beans taste the same! :p
