Have now decided to wait out my contract. Have read several reviews on the S4 and the majority seem to say if you are moving from the S3 then its not really worth the extra expense. Several...
Me too but out of practice now, mine is lagging also, S4 is calling me but £300 to buy out my contract (although have been offered £180 for it)
Me too, first phone I have left as stock, well rooted stock.
I use swype too but I also believe the words are automatically stored.
Great stuff enjoy your updated phone!
It will be in your app drawer. Just drag it back to where you want it on your homescreen.
That's great thanks both! Will get it sorted when I have had a read x
Forgot to say be careful though because data charges whilst abroad are very high usually. I always disable mine and just use the phone for calls/texts unless on the hotel Wi-Fi.
You have to enable data roaming to use the internet abroad unless the hotel or place you are in has free Wi-Fi which you can connect to.
Anyone:confused: know the best way to do this?
That's my plan too. Took out a contract on day one last year to get the S3 on launch day, glad I did but wouldn't do it again in such a hurry as there are better deals after a while.
I have a galaxy s3 so cant be sure if its the same but have just taken a video and connected my phone to pc to check.
Phone is connected via a USB as a media device. I opened the connection on my pc...
Me too had to get mms settings from o2.
Yes thats what it said but I had plan b keep all my photos backed up to windows. Saved me the trouble of searching for them. Kies is weird like that it should have recognised my phone!
Rich when I wiped my phone to return to stock it wiped my sd card as well and all my pics. When I logged into Kies (to restore from my old backup) it said no backup available! Luckily I have dropbox...
Have owned iphone and galaxy s3. Iphone is easy to use and coming to android is a bit of a shock at first as it is not so easy to use straight out of the box. Having said that once you get used to it...
Have installed the new one. Google have also stopped the avast app rooted version.
I could gmail it to you if you like? Save it to your sd card then, it's deffo the best.
Well I lasted three days! Have now re-rooted, could not stand the invasive advertising on websites/apps. When I went to reinstall Ad Away it had gone from market, brilliant app. Luckily hubby had it...
Yes me too just a few slight adjustments that samsung like you to do! Not noticed anything else yet.
I find this quicker to do than an app but you can get the widget.
Does it appear when you hold down the home button?
Cheers Rich have just tried again and it worked this time. That was a lot easier than Kies and really quick. Maybe I won't re root after all we shall see.
As my phone is sim free and unlocked I thought that I would be among the first updates. This order in which it is requested is strange.
I don't know how long I will last with these ads popping up everywhere (apps and browser). Was hoping Avast would have an ad remover.
Bet I am rooting again within a week!
