I buy my mobiles sim-free and usually last about 18 months before I crack and buy the latest. I have to say that the latest crop, although all looking very nice, have nothing to tempt me from my S3....
Funnily enough mine has been suffering from lag too. I assume it because of the large number of programs I now have on it. I suspect there are a few programs regularly syncing over the internet that...
I'll be interested in what you come up with. Having used a variety of custom roms on previous phones I haven't yet found one for the SIII that for me adds anything that makes it worthwhile changing...
It does sound like you are going to have to send it in for repair then :(
See my question above.
What happens if you try to access the boot screen? ie. Press volume up, Home button and Power button simultaneously?
Not a lot of use but neither my S3 not my i8910 before that would properly transfer my contacts to my car. I eventually found out the problem was too many contacts (400+) / too much detail in the...
Security programs can be a bit strange. I access Wolfgang's Vault (highly recommended) a lot from my PC but for a couple of weeks recently my work PC would access it but my home PC using a different...
Back to your insurance - Do you have household insurance? That may well cover it.
It sounds to me that you have got a faulty cable. Have you tried using your friend's cable with your charger? If it still works you need a new cable.
Did you buy from a shop you can go back to?
Are you using the same or different cables each time?
I never thought of that, it's always been active when I tested. I'll give it a go with GPS off and see what happens.
Ah, I use Prey for in case I lose my phone. Touch wood I'll never need it because that's when I'll find out it's not set up properly ;)
From Google search it appears to be getting a lot interest in Holland. Is there a special cheese app added? :):)
I have to confess being on the anti-anti-virus side of the argument. As long as you are not downloading warez / or from dodgy sites, to my mind all the anti-virus software is doing is clogging up...
Erm, it's a thread in a section for accessories commenting on the fact that there are no threads on accessories in this section.
That seems to make even less sense than than the original comment...
Ah, us S III users are very much purists. We don't like anything to get in between us and the ultimate experience of using the S III :)
My original was from San-disk but it had been through a few phones so the contacts might have become damaged.
Fingers crossed! The moral of the story, for me anyway, would seem to be never buy a memory card from Walmart :-)
I had this problem about three months ago and tried everything. In the end I bought a new memory card (32GB) but that did not resolve it either.
I then persuaded myself I really needed a 64GB...
Ah, the joys of my old UIQ phones when the battery lasted for three or four days :)
One of the nice things about the SIII is that the battery is removable. So, if it really did become useless it's easy enough to replace.
That's assuming you keep the phone long enough for that to...
Printing memos is not something I do but . . .
I use Inkpad for my notes (free version) and under the sharing options is Wi-Fi Direct. Would this send to a printer? I'm afraid I don't have a...
I've just received the 'LLA update through Kies on my unbranded UK phone. Interestingly, the download persistently stuck on 99% until I gave in and ticked the box that allowed Samsung to keep my...
I think having them on is part of the deal to get free internet hot-spot across the UK so I'll leave them on. Because I use those alternative connections when I'm out and about, that might be why my...
