When you say the Maps are stored on the internal SD, is this the "16GB USB Drive" which shows up in the storage and not the device memory?

Another quick question I can't find an answer to ......... do I need an SD card in my S2 to install the maps onto. The Euro maps are 2GB, I have only the standard storage on my phone and no SD card....

Update if anyone is interested. Suspected Kies win7 / 64bit / SSD issue. Fixed it with a few registry hacks, tried again and sme issue under new profile and clean VM build. Works a treat on win7...

Using a SSD drive as boot, therefore, system restore switched off as per best practice with SSD. Usually switch it on and off prior to installing apps, not this time, silly me. Just got the phone...
