I'm assuming as you're running stock firmware that you aren't rooted? So can't reset battery stats? You've a couple of choices as far as I can see. Do a factory reset, wiping the whole device, flash...

That's freaky... I'm running my third different ICS version (Had used Dark Knight and ICSSGS previously now on Slim ICS) and never had that issue. Especially after fully wiping between flashes.

I did exactly this. I had a screen die on me, re-flashed stock firmware, sent it away, came back a week or so later all shiny new screen, same stock firmware, no questions....! Go for it!

May be a slow external SD card? If it can't write quickly enough to the card then it may miss a frame? Worth looking at if you've got it set to record to the external card and the camera firmware...
