Might have a video at home, i'll take a look
No idea, personally i'd try the s2 version, just don't overwrite any of your existing files in case it doesn't work
I followed a Lamborghini Gallardo through the port tunnel, he only floored it a few times but dear god the noise !!
I do love the way games uninstall yet leave behind for example the 100mb download you had to do when you first played it. Very poor effort on the part of the developers... if i uninstall something i...
Forget about Kies and use ODIN
Very diplomatic lol. Kies is awful IMO, whoever wrote should it be ashamed of themselves....
Get the latest firmware from http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/ and use Odin, Kies, as you've discovered, is useless.
Interesting concept but the graphics are terrible.....
I've always avoided the non-Samsung ROMS, figuring i'd be losing some functionality
I like the Omega ROM i'm currently using, i haven't seen a 4.04 one i've liked the look of yet :)
I'm on 4.03 so that explains it
Were 2 threads really necessary?
Download NoLED from the market place it's exactly what you need.
Have you tried 'forgetting the network' on your phone and let it pick up the network again?. I'd also try switching off the security on your router to see if the phone will then connect.

I don't have a 'Security & Lock Screen' menu, just 'Security' In there i can only change the type of screen lock :(
Supposedly it disappears after a while, though mine hasn't. You need to edit framework-res.apk to remove the text. Decompile it, open up resources.arsc and you'll find the offending text.
Have you tried a factory reset?
My advice would be to forget about Kies, it's a useless piece of software and gives nothing but trouble. If you looking to update your firmware use Odin instead.
 Ok ordering a regular SD card instead of a micro SD card is one thing, but why, when it arrives and you see it's the wrong size, would you open it ???
It fits the standard case because the only 2500mAH about it is the sticker on the battery.
Do not use the the site of this spammer......
Even if it was a micro cd card, who the hell is Busbi ??? I'd stick with a well known brand like Sandisk/Samsung/Lexar when buying memory cards. But then i'm a snob like that :)
Personally i don't see the need to use Kies at all, it's an awful piece of software. There's nothing Kies does that other software that actually works can't do.
