You've got the headers hidden. Double click in the white border to the left of the thin line that outlines the data. You'll get your headers and menu back.

It could be some 3rd party app interfering.
I would suggest you to go through all the apps such as task killers, android boosters, battery defender ( other apps of same kind, i hope you got the idea...
Once the market begins to restore apps, you can go to /settings/apps/manage apps/all/market or play/force stop and it will end the restore.
The game is a lot of fun and a nice challenge, but it'd be nice to have a way to lock (or otherwise denote) pieces that you don't want to rotate.
