    hi im new to this forum n
    i got a new galaxy s the specifications are as follows
    firmware version-2.1-update1
    Baseband ver-19000xxjd6
    kernal version-2.6.29 umts_scm@s2-servant03 #2
    build no-gt-i9000-eng 2.1-update 1 ECLAIR i9000xxjd6 test-keys

    what shocks me is the firmware version is JD6 which i have never seen
    2ndly what does JD imply can i move to other JD for eg JD2 or JD3

    and can i change from i9000xx to i9000dx ie asian version if possible then how????

    I have come tho the step in cmd.
    I put adb shell and then put su -
    but after that it appeard like this 'permissions denied'.
    What is the problems??

    But while iam trying to flash the XXJF3, my mobile has been freezed.
    I followed the instruction but after flashing the XXJF3, rebooting my mobile, at the very first screen 'Samsung Galaxy s', and freezed.
    Now only 2 led lights on the bottom on. What should i do? Im pretty nervous...help me~~~~~~~
