Hi all

I recently had an upgrade sent to me..which proceeded to install itself onto my S2 all seemed well until I tried texting...using the Samsung default keyboard I found a few of the features different..and most annoyingly the 'add word' has disappeared...aslo when I receive a text it appears in the screen of its own automatically..which I dont like

The sound only seems to be half as loud as before..annoying because I am hard of hearing..(yes I have tried turning it up)

Plus there are one or two other new features im not keen on..

My question...can I drop back to my older version..and how easy is it to do so?

I really dont like how the phone functions now and I am going to end up having to sell it a year ahead of my contract renewal otherwise...

Oh and for some reason I cannot download Kies..

The version is 4.1.2

Many thanks...

Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy II GT-I9100. On earlier Samsung models I have owned, it was possible to make the Incoming Text notification sound repeat - say every couple of minutes or so - until the Text was accessed and read. I don't seem to be able to locate a setting for this facility on my Galaxy SII. Is it possible to make the Notification sound repeat at a set interval? I can't find any reference in the user manual......
I would really appreciate any help.
Thanks

Hello, i would like to know if someone can help with an issue I have, my dad has a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant (SGHT959), the other day I tried to unlock it but failed to many times and the phone blocked.

My dad already tried putting his mail and password to receive the mail with the unlocking steps but nothing. He even factory reset it (hard reset) and nothing, it still asks for a mail and a password to unlock.

Is there any other way to unlock it? Or maybe plug it to a PC and reinstal the OS?

Please help.

Just had the latest JB update installed 4.1.2
It seems to have made the original wallpaper I had enlarged.
The wallpaper I had fitted perfectly before
width: 480
height: 800
Tried setting wallpaper again and it just has a blue box with loads of other blue boxes on it. Tried extending the blue corners but it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Also, I can't remember how to put a bookmark for the internet on my home screen, although only tried a few things on that. Mainly because the background image is really annoying me, just a big massive blurred tree rather than the nice tree and background.

Thanks.
