Just thought some people might like to know how to do this - if your network doesn't support fast dormancy then your S3 battery life will be reduced because of network related wake locks. Unfortunately unlike earlier Galaxy devices it is not easy to disable fast dormancy, but fortunately @lokhor from AndroidNZ has worked out how to do it (Root required folks).
