Help!! I have only had my phone for a couple of days and it randomly keeps making water droplet sounds and I have no idea why. I check the phone each time and it does not show any notifications, missed items or messages (I have a different sound set for messages). Does anyone have any idea what this might be and how I might turn it off??? TIA

Turn it off in sound menu.

I have checked the sound menu numerous times and nothing seems to have this tone assigned to it

It's your lockscreen and 2 things cause the ripple noise to occur.
Go to Menu > Settings > Security > Lock Screen Options > untick 'Ripple Effect' (This will stop the ripple effect and sound happening when you tap on the screen when it is locked).
Go to Menu > Settings > Sound > untick Screen Lock Sound (This will stop the water ripple effect sound happening when you lock/unlock the screen).
Alternatively as Swipermusic pointed out you can turn off the system sounds.
