Samsung has informed us that we will not be receiving stock of this item in time for the original release date of May 30, 2012. Samsung are unable to confirm when this stock will be available in the UK, however, we'll email you when we have further information.

So my order is delayed. I have no intent to camp outside a shop. I can wait. It'll give Chainfire time to get the root properly sorted. :)

My only concern is the selling price for my trusty SGS is reducing as time passes. Hey ho, never mind.

Following confirmation from Samsung (see their official Press Release below), Phones 4u will not be receiving stock within the timescale we were advised. Therefore, we regret to inform you that there is going to be a delay in receiving your Pebble Blue Samsung Galaxy S III.

This is the official Samsung Press Release about why there is a delay in the UK with the Pebble Blue version:

In order to meet the highest internal quality standards and to provide the best quality GALAXY S III to customers, a short supply of the Pebble Blue version is expected in some regions in the next 2-3 weeks.

Instead of inventing the colour blue, why not use black.

I just ordered my White SGS3 :) Whoop!!!

It's a 24mth contract, 1000 mins, 1gb data, unltd txts, Orange Wifi (free access to BT OZ) for £36. Not the best deal out there but for me it's £5 p/m less with twice as many calls and data.

I'm pretty much going to be glued to the window till I see the delivery man. Should be due tomorrow....sorry Stonkr.

I prefer Black too, so the idea of blue was a bit horrifying. When CPW told me it could not supply blue but able to supply white instead, I said just swap it because I intend to cover it with a (black) leather flip case anyway, so the case colour is irrelevant to me. Having received the white one, it is not too bad...! But, probably too white and will look grubby after my fingers have been all over it, so the case idea is still the plan.

Maybe if they brought one out in black it might help the people who dont want white

My pebble blue has been dispatched. I should get it on Wednesday or Thursday. I'm guessing some stock came in late on Friday or early this morning.

They light up white, which is a good thing, as the phone is more of a graphite colour than a blue. The phone looks 1000x better in person than on the pictures

Cool. Definitely, I really don't understand when people say that it looks cheap and plasticy. Although the back is plastic it's also hard wearing and the same as all the other plastic backing that I've had with any other Samsung.

GTA3 & Super Monkey Ball 2 run sweet on this phone :)

Edit: Just put on Transformers 3 1080p, a 5Gb .mkv file and the phone plays it with no problem...thank you Samsung :)

Haven't seen any in the shops where I am yet. Samsung appears to be delaying them until mid June.

Have only seen marbles, which look nice alongside the chrome accents, but are not really for me.

Amazon now looks to be shipping mine beginning 20th June onwards. :( :)

If you're waiting for the blue and are in two minds, don't be, patience will reward you. It's halfway between navy and black with a very feint lined pattern and to my eyes looks very nice and a lot more interesting than if it were another plain black device.

Really, as has already been stated, the photos just don't do it justice.

EDIT: Checked Amazon and my pebble had disappeared from my orders page. Heart in mouth. What had I done? Then realised I'd ordered it over 30 days ago and it was in my archived orders. Anyhow, now changed to 'Dispatching soon' with an estimated arrival of next Thursday. I can wait. Just. :)

Looked at the blue one yesterday but still glad I had white. Very dark not like the promotion pics.
