Hi, this will be the first time I have bought a memory card of any sort/size for a phone/camera, is this one on Fleabay any good for the price?

32gb Micro SD Card with adapter £13.55 with free postage;

Item number :: 290683196647

Your thoughts please?

Cheers;

It's an amazing price. Meaning it could possibly, maybe, perhaps be poor quality and/or hacked, so it shows as being 32GB when accessed but can't store that much information.

I recommend not buying any memory card from eBay.

For an idea of the current price you should be paying, have a look at Amazon, Play or Pixmania.

Also consider the class of the card, the higher the class, the faster the transfer speed. As the card should last a long time, get the highest class you can afford, then it'll be suitable for use in future devices. You need to be looking minimum class6.

Amazon have a nice Samsung 32GB class10 card for just under £30 at the moment. When I get my next phone (SGS triple eye) I'll probably be looking at one of those myself. :)

You know, fleabay seems to be a Fakers Paradise at the moment, I have a little shop on it, but I would not dream of selling fakes, and the one time I unknowingly broke a Vero rule, I got banned for 7 days!! Yet, some sellers on there have hundreds of negatives for selling 100's of duff / fake / counterfeit products, and get away with it, it really miffs me, I digress, so around £25-£30for a decent, genuine 32gb Micro SD card is about right?

Found a Samsung MB-MSBGAEU 32GB class 10 micro sd card on Amazon for £18.40 + £4.59 delivery.

EDIT: And now it's back up to just under £30 again.

Play.com usually has good prices, i got a class 4 sandisk 32gb for 18 pounds, works great, writes at speeds just under 5mb.
