I really like the Galaxy S as an in car MP3 player but something that is really annoying me is the way the phone interferes with the speakers in the car. I know I could probably mess around trying to shield the speaker wires etc but wondered if there was a way to temporarily suspend the actual phone functions...so it's not always transmitting and receiving, which is the cause of the interference. ?

Or is it Flight Mode... Airplane Mode makes it sound like it can fly...

settings > wireless&network > select flight mode

If you want to do that a bit quicker, hold down the lock/power button and you'll get a menu. Select Flight Mode.
