Ive been told that 720p recording is better and smoother in the dark than 1080p. Is that true?

Try it and decide which you think is best.Alison

It probably depends what you are filming and how dark it is. Plus Hazi1964 does have a point. If your making a thread to discuss the qualities of the camera capture during night then you could contribute yourself.

I edited my media thread to show some obvious tips for SGS1 users and an example of indoor shot with no lighting other than a TV. The SGSII is different though as it has a flash :(

Again, try each and decide for yourself, don't expect others to do the legwork for you.

Leg work?

Im not asking anybody to do anything for im just asking if anyones has experimented with it and all i get is do it yourself?

This forum is seriously rude!

There is nothing rude about suggesting you try and see for yourself, that's the only way you will find out which is best. If somebody had experimented with it they probably would have answered your question.

If i tried it myself i wouldnt need to ask would i? I only came here asking for advice and any other forum ive ever been on (im on a few different forums) i get nothing but good advice. If you not tried it out you shouldnt be replying since that makes it pointless

My point is that you can try it yourself to decide yourself which you prefer, and no, you wouldn't need to ask, it would actually have been a lot quicker for you to simply try yourself.

I don't appreciate being told I shouldn't be replying when I have every right to. I have not been rude at any time, simply made a suggestion. If you don't like that, that's your problem not mine.

Can this thread please be closed now as it is rather pointless.

Thanks
Alison
