sferg.410 02-16-2012, 10:34 PM i am finding that none of the links to the files work.... :-(
Erlander 02-17-2012, 12:03 AM I got it from Sammobile.
Sc00by 02-18-2012, 09:42 AM I've not been too bothered with flashing since I got my S2 - happy with the standard set up etc.
But now that there is a version of ICS that is supposed to be stable enough for daily use (see GSM Arenas blog - Link below), I'm more than tempted - Thinking about giving this a whirl tonight.
Has anyone else taken the plunge yet, and have any feedback - or some 2nd hand thoughts ?

Sc00by 02-19-2012, 09:14 AM I used this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1420996
It dates back to the 31st Dec 2011 when ICS was first leaked BUT everything you need is in the very first post as it has been updated.
The description also relates to the file names in the download so evrything is easy.
(Just for info, I flashed from Gingerbread to ICS (LPH), using the above XDA files).
Having said that, I might have used the PIT file from the download in the first post of this thread ?
Thanks for that sc00by done it now ad am impressed, only thing i dont like s that i am on virgin mobile but sgs2 now shoing it as t-mobile lol
svip.info 02-19-2012, 11:41 PM Battery: Not better than early ones.

surferbum 02-24-2012, 11:38 AM Hi

Transporter 02-28-2012, 05:12 PM Hey guys! I'd like to ask you some questions. I'm planing on updating my firmware to this one tomorrow when I get back from school, so I want to know which thread should I use? I mean i saw 2 firmwares but this thread has like 6k views and the other one has barely 1k.And - is it worth upgrading to this one? Are there some bugs? And how can I make an backup so I could save the version of my current firmware, so if something went wrong with the phone I could flash it back , because it voids my warranty. Also I'd be very greatful if somebody could point me out one of the most valuable pluses of this firmware? Like battery life, speed etc.Thanx in advance.
Regards - Transporter.
sssuhi 03-05-2012, 04:03 PM All links are not working, when i clicked the download link, then the page is showing
Error: The requested page you are attempting to view does not exist or has been removed because it violates our terms of use.
Is any other link is available for downloading ICS 4!!!
Teasy 03-07-2012, 04:33 PM Does Ice Cream Sandwich support the use of the NTFS file system? I've been trying to get full HD movies playing on my Galaxy II for a few weeks and at first I tried splitting them up. But playback isn't good enough because there's always a visible delay between parts. I really need to get rid of that 4GB Fat32 limit on my SD card so I'll update to this if its possible.
Erlander 03-07-2012, 08:59 PM I can't say about NTFS but I would also look at the Linux ext4 and even ext3 file systems. Given that Android is Linux based I think they might work.
Edit: I just formatted a SD card as ext4 and put it in my phone. It is an unsupported format so that does not work.
I suggest that you try formatting a card NTFS and see if it works. I copied the data off to my pc before formating and back again after so the same process could be tried with NTFS.
katormes 03-12-2012, 07:00 AM I installed ICS yesterday. Nice feel but still buggy. Titanium Pro does not work flawlessly, some apps (eg Merriam-Webster Dictionary) not possible to install.
greenman 03-12-2012, 11:52 AM ICS official release for the S2 is due out this month.
I'm now waiting after flirting with the Beta offerings, non of which is without its flaws.
07_stang 09-27-2012, 07:46 PM Installed the official ATT ICS 4.0.3 update and everything works great except for google play movies. I can no longer stream or download movies to the device. Any suggestions? I complianed to Google, but heard nothing.
RichH 09-27-2012, 07:56 PM Find the app in application manager and clear data & cache. Uninstall any updates that you can and try it again.
