How do you upgrade? Through Kies?

I've found rebooting again solves this.

Yes through Kies - is there any other way? I've rebooted but still the same, stuck.
Ahh, clearing the app's cache has done the trick! Strange, didn't realise that had to be done.

This is all very odd. I've got a Samsung Galaxy S2 and Vodafone is my mobile phone provider (I got the phone from Phones 4u) but I when I try updating to 2.3.5 OTA I get the message "No Update Available" and Kies tells me I have the latest firmware installed. Also Samsung have told me via email that "Please be advised that there currently is no official release date for this firmware version for your particular handset." Yet Vodafone told me it was released.
Compared to 2.3.4 is 2.3.5 a big leap and worth the effort?
All very confusing.

Wish O2 would push this update then just for that, it's my only thing I don't like about the TouchWiz interface!

It won't make any huge difference to day to day using, it's just tweaks here and there.

OK thanks. As it's only tweaks rather than improvements and given the problems some people have had with 2.3.5 and not being very confident in sorting out any problems which may arise as a result of this update messing up my phone I think I'll wait until a more serious update comes along.
I always recall the old adage "If it aint broke don't fix it" :)
