just wonder if there is an app like WATSSAP for our phone? like chatting with all sgs users for free...

i do know iphone has such app ... wonder if SGS has this tooooo?

Google Talk might work. Neatly integrated in the phone.

Well most of the people with Android devices are going to be using a Google account... And that's just me assuming things again, but Android is developed by Google, and using Google accounts helps you get the most out of Android. I'm sure many people use other accounts too, but I guess GTalk is as close to an Android to Android IM system as you can get.

Of course you can just use an MSN/Yahoo/Gtalk/AIM IM app.

You can go into your gMail on your computerm you see the Talk box on the left side of your inbox. You can add people there - or you can add people by running the Talk app on your phone. Remember that if you want to use the google talk app on your phone/in your mail, you will only be able to chat with other google talk users.

If you want to be able to talk to people on MSN, Yahoo, AIM, Google Talk, ICQ and so on, you need to get a multi-protocol IM like Fring, Nimbuzz or Ebuddy... I'm sure there are many others.

think i ever installed an app when i first got my SGS... forgot which app...hmm...maybe is meebo..or ebuddy..my fb got hacked...i changed password for fb...and tried to istalled the meebo/ebuddy again...and tried to login fast...was told again n again my fb was login at another end of the country...eversince i stopped trying ...

There is an app called cnectd that is very similar to whatsapp or bbm, which can be used on iphones and blackberry's too.
