Hi Guys, still trying to get the hang of all this forum stuff...didn't even have a mobile phone until 4 years ago!

Was using the original G1 up to now - been struggling of late - missing messages in and out, dropping calls, etc...though definitely time for an upgrade!

Loved the open source Android OS but also appreciated the look & feel of the iPhones with all their apps, etc...

Spent a number of days hunting around comparisons and stats/features for the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 & HTC Hero when I came across the SGS and in all honesty could not fault it - beating hte iphone 4 in every respect; better video phone, double battery life, hotswappably batteries, break-out memory, the list goes on!

Had for a week now and just purchased my first two apps (well, live wallpapers actually - both excellent - aCircuit Board & Galactic Core donation)

Totally loving the phone - can't wait for Froyo's release and see where we go from there! XD
