I looked all over the forum and no one seems to have this issue. My Galaxy S2 I9100M does not have any option to modify my user interface font in Display. Is there an upgrade that I missed or is there a problem here somewhere?

Go to screen display at top in settings-display I chose choco something or other although bizzarly it isn't there any more but is still working. Maybe try pressing menu while in display?

I just checked a mate's SGSII and it is there, but slightly different place then the SGSI
Menu > Settings > Display > Screen Display > Font
When you go to the display settings there is an option called Display/Display settings, effectively you have to go into display twice (the second display option has no identification to show you can click on it). From there you can select the font or change the contract of the background.
Edit: I'm not entirely sure regardng the i9100M or the firmwre it has. Options to differ from firmware to firwmare. Are you in Canada?

I think I saw some where that another Canadian could not change their font either, I'd put a small bet down that it's the firmware that is on the phone.
Downloading a different homescreen launcher may give you the option to change the font. Also changing the firmware, maybe a custom rom?

Go to the app market and download Fontomizer (it might be called font for galaxy sp) you can download and install loads of fonts to use on your phone.
Not sure if this works if you can't access the font option but it's worth a shot.

Most launchers will allow you to change the font.
You also have to consider how more battey power is consumed using an 3rd party launcher just to chage the font.
