Hi,

I have a Galaxy sII which is rooted and I'm currently on the lightenin rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1095274.

I also have ROM Manager premium app installed.

I am trying to move to Cyanogen mod using these instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1176411.

Using ROM Manager I am using the latest recovery (4.0.1.5), but i can't reboot into it. I get the error messages:

E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed

as discussed at http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/how-to-install-clockworkmod-recovery-on-samsung-galaxy-s-i9000/

So i'm trying to follow the instructions and get the correct file from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788108 but cos I have lightnin rom when I check build number in 'about phone' it just shows me the lightnin rom details.

Can anyone advise how I remove lightnin rom then i should get the info I need?
Thanks!
p.s. I can boot into recover via lightnin rom (holding down power button and choosing recover from menu) but it boots into recovery 4.0.0.2 whereas via rom manager i have updated to 4.0.1.5

Get a stock firmware. Get odin. Boot into download mode to flash.
