I am about to give 5 SGS phones to employees but my boss would like them to be locked down slightly to allow them to be used primarily for business functions.

Does anyone know anyway I can disable the home/Applications button?

I have found a way to lock apps with passwords using a market app.

I know this is overkill but it is what has been requested of me, luckily mine stays open :-)

I'm not sure if you can. The whole idea of Android is that its open and customisable. No idea if you can lock buttons out :S
