I copied some photos from my PC onto my phone. They were in folders on my PC. They are not in folders on my phone. Is there a way to organise photos on my phone?

The photos from my PC are all down under "Camera" in the gallery together with ones I have taken with my phone's camera. There is also a download section which are photos downloaded from emails, and a bluetooth section which contains a photo shared via bluetooth.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Many thanks.

OK. Have found the answer. Have to do it on my PC. Can create new folders on the phone on the PC when connected via USB and then it's simple to drag and drop.

When your phone is connected to your PC with USB cable you need to open the phone drive on your PC which gives you access to all your phone stuff. Select Camera (from DCIM I think - can't remember) and you will then see all your photos. If you right click anywhere on the screen you get a new folder box which you can name and then drag and drop whichever photos you want into it. You can also copy photo folders from your PC onto your phone this way but you would need to create folders to put them in otherwise they appear on your phone folder-less which is what happened to me first time round. When you take new photos on your phone they are all grouped together under "camera" and you need to repeat the process above if you want them neat and tidy in a folder! I haven't found any other way to do this.
Hope this is clear. If not - ask again and I'll try and explain differently.

There is also a possibility to download an app like ES File Explorer and do the needful via the phone itself.

That sounds like it would be less complicated. Have downloaded ES file explorer and managed to create a new folder within DCIM / camera but can't work out how to move photos into the folder. I'm sure it should be obvious but I'm pretty much a novice and I can't work out how to do it! :-(
