Is there any way I can have my SGS display the files names in the gallery application without having to go into the details menu? It's getting quite difficult to know which black box to click on when I want to watch a movie as I've got more than 15 in my phone at the moment. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think there's a way to do that. What you can do is start the Video Player directly. That way you'll see a list of all your movies, and their names.
