I hope I don't come across as a complete twit, but:

I yesterday purchased the SII and am trying to download/install apps. However, since my 3G has yet to be activated and there's no WiFi to be found in the mountains, I'm stuck with using a usb cable.

Anyway

I've attempted to use Android Market to install apps...and it says my phone is compatible and when I click install, it say, "Download will start shortly." Even after reviewing the app, it says it has been installed. But, there is neither hide nor hair of an app anywhere.

Could someone please give me a run-down on how to achieve program installs via USB, or advice on what I may be doing wrong? Thank you!

Once you have a data network or WiFi up and running it will then download and install to your phone, as far as I'm aware it doesn't work via USB.

It only says installed on the Android market site to show that the app has been selected to be installed so you don't keep pressing the button to install:)

Understood. Thanks a lot!

My phone activation is Tuesday. Hopefully my work's WiFi will work tomorrow!~
