becaus eits starting to drive me mad and i cant find a solution (I have a non rooted phone, which ideally i wish to keep non rooted)

I read a while back that it's a legal thing in Korea that a camera must make a noise when a photo is taken. I think the shutter sound on the phone probably stems from that (if it's true).

If that is the case, it's unlikely that stock firmware will allow you to disable the sound.

Believe it or not, it was to stop people taking photos without the the "subject" knowing.

I guess to stops pervs taking pictures of girls with short skirts or something, which those crazy Koreans seem to like.
(I apologise if I have offended any Korean members, I'm not implying that you are all pervy)
