Hi folks
I have been having problems with 90% of my music tracks showing up on my new SGS2 as being by an unknown artist, when they had worked before. After a lot of searching around for a solution on here and elsewhere, I googled the problem and found on http://androidforums.com a reference to a free app called MediaFix. I just downloaded and run this app and it works!! The tagging has succeeded and the songs have all been assigned to the correct artists and albums. It's very fast - the c3400 tracks of mine that were affected all retagged themselves in 2-3 minutes.
I am so relieved that I haven't had to employ a more long-winded solution, or wait for a Samsung firmware update.
I thought some people could make good use of this information, hence a fresh thread on the issue.:):)
