in my innocence, i just dragged my itunes music folder from mac to sd card
works, sort of, but...
sgs2 music player - no easy way to transfer playlists, won't use exported .m3u ones
try winamp - can handle .m3u playlists
both - many tracks losing artist name and/or album names and/or album art, there's also a non-ascii character encoding issue
it's clearly not happy with me just dragging the music files from the mac
i've browsed umpteen forums, threads, reviews of music players, it hasn't filled me with optimism
anyone with personal experience of the best music player and sync method for someone with a huge itunes collection?
i'm after three basic features...
i) play music
ii) import playlists
iii) retain details such as artist name, album name, artwork etc.
happy to pay for the right app, but i'd like to be sure i'm not wasting time/money on something with 748 features i don't want, but that can't do the three basics
