Right.
I'm currently encoding Voyager into MKV files from DVD for my media players.
We do the full range of ST in this house.
I'm wondering.
Where should it go next, as Enterprise was cut short and the franchise appears to have stopped. Apart from the latest Film which I still haven't watched as I still haven't set up my surround sound speakers in the extension at the back of my house as I still haven't welded some custom brackets as I still haven't found time. Yet.
What do you think..?

I think the latest Star Trek film absolutely kicked ass and I'm not even a Trekkie.
Just my 2p worth :p

I remember The Wrath of Kahn. I also remember Warf refusing to explain why early Klingons looked like humans with a bit of styled face hair. I'm not sure if that helps.

Scunthorpe? Space, schmace - it's been done to death and has long since been buried in an avalanche of cliche...
The original was fun as it was simple and not at all too far up its own black hole. Latterly, it's all too contrived and tries to be too clever - aside from the "aliens" of course, who remain largely humanoid aside from a big ear here and some fur there. Or a Tippex-smeared face. Or having their eyes covered by some cardboard...
The bald fella started it all with his classical acting and attitude. Kirk, on the other hand, was a one-dimensional comic book style caricature and the better for it.
More SCARY aliens, less dialogue, more explosions and cliff-hangers, I say!
And perhaps some badgers.

OK then. Apart from electra who wants a piece of Mr Torn Shirt himself.
So far we want darker, no humanoid aliens, someone to play Khan (Ricardo Montalban sadly passed away in 2009), Warf to explain things, a Scunthorpe backdrop and a bit of kick-ass.
Looking good so far.
EDIT: Ooh, and more badgers.

how about a wisecracking sidekick, perhaps a sort of jar jar binx character? That'll enliven the franchise!
