How would I go about flashing a firmware on a galaxy that doesn't have download mode?

It's with T mobile if that makes any difference.

There's a thread somewhere which should tell you how to get the 3 button combo working.

If you can't get the 3 button combo working there are other ways, but I have not tried so will not comment.

Flash a zip file through the recovery mode? there are requirements for this though, I think EXT3?

You could also try USB Jig, if you can't get the 3 button combo working:)

It's a colleague at work's phone. I don't think he will allow me to do too much to it if anything really.
