Hi all, I got my s2 on Saturday, coming from an iPhone 3gs, I love it already it blows my old iPhone out the water. However, something is niggling at me... I've read about the yellow tint problems affecting the left side of the screen, I can't notice any 'band' down my screen it all seems quite uniform, except I'm sure the whole damn thing is tinted yellow?! The white's just don't seem very white to me! Is this normal for this type of screen? Is it all in my mind?! It seems to be ever so slightly 'off white'... Phone is an upgrade from o2 instore.

Take it back and compare with another, mine is white with not yellowish in the screen

I went and compared it to one a 3 store (my nearest o2 doesn't have live demo ones) the screen on the 3 one was definitely more 'blue' at lower brightness whereas mine next to it was more yellowy brown if that makes sense, a minor thing but even my inferior iphone 3gs screen looked whiter and 'normal' compared to it.

It bugged me a lot despite being a minor thing, o2 didn't see it as a fault but have sent it for free to Samsung anyway, so I'll see what I get back in 2 weeks!
