New phone last week on UK o2.

Since day one phone randomly reboots, sometimes when just lying on the desk in Lock Mode.

Any advice, other then doing a factory restore, which shouldn't be required on a 5 day old phone.

What Apps have you installed if any? I would update the Firmware via the Kies software on your PC (You can download this from Samsung if you don't have it installed already). Hope it doesn't re-boot randomly whilst you're updating!

Thanks Gareth.I have not installed any apps since last factory reset and still doing it.

I have been on kies ( and thats another story) and it says I have the latest firmware.

I expect I will be arguing the toss tomorrow in the o2 store .

Sounds like it could be a faulty handset to me, with the latest firmware and no Apps there is no reason at all for random re-boots. Good luck with the store...

Hand set replaced last week by o2 shop with minimum explanation of problem.

New set seems to be working FINE.
