ive plugged my S2 into the latest version of kies and it told me an update was available (XWKE1), which i accepted. The problem i now have is kies wont automatically give me the second update (XWKE2), kies just says i have the latest firmware (XWKE1). Has anyone else had this problem and any solutions?? have samsung halted the second update due issues alot of people seem to be getting ?? thanks

The first update went fine, a bit long though but everthing seems to be working fine. the only thing i noticed was that at the end of application page 4 it would leave a space and move the last application to a new page.

Samsung pulled the update and are going to release ke3 very soon according to a post on xda.

I believe KE4 has just been released, going to get my lazy ass out of bed and going to try installing it. Will post update soon.

Ke2 didn't play nicely with orange sim cards. I stuck with it though.

I have installed ke4 and all went smoothly. There are no obvious changes other than, if you can believe it, everything seems a bit smoother and snappier but that may be my imagination. I will post again if I notice anything specific.

KE7 is on kies now.

how can i update the firmware?

I have:

Baseband version: I9100BOKF1
Build number: GINGERBREAD.BOKF3

how do you guys have KE7 and KE3??? whats the difference... I just literally updated my GS2 over Kies and that was the most up to date apparently..

Kf is newer than ke...we are now on kh

It goes in alphabetical order ke is may. Kf is june. Kg is july and kh is august

The numbers are for each individual release for that month

I suggest flashing a newer firmware via odin
