That is a bold man to be stripping down an SGS2... I would probably end up with a box full of parts at my phone shop trying to exchange for it a working phone :D

Still nice to see what's in the guts of the beast. People do this just to be the "First" on YouTube etc. I'm sure the next thing will be someone putting the phone in a blender or buying one just to smash it up on camera for youtube...

I found this vid very usefull as i got my contract phone wet and it wouldnt turn on..
Took it apart and found one drip of water got onto the circuit board via the headphone jack hole :(
Sent it back as it was only 4 weeks old but "out of warranty" as damaged by water :( BAAWWWWW...
Provider sold me another one for £101 as i didnt have it insured so outcome not so bad as phone recyclers will by dead one for £99-£147...

Wow, totally saved my life! I got my phone wet too (totally submerged) and it would not turn on. I took apart, cleaned and dried all components, and it turned on but the touchscreen wouldn't work. So I took it apart again, and took off and cleaned some more parts (not seen in vid) and put back together and everything worked! Couldn't be happier! Thanks soraxd for posting!
