just got my new galaxy s phone and im trying to make a google account as thats wot it says i need for going on the market all i get is this could be a temporary problem or your phone may not be provisioned for data services if it continues call customer care
any idea wot im doing wrong ?

make one from your computer, and then just log into it from your phone

Can you access to google.com from your phone? It might be some internet connection problem with you phone, as soraxd suggest, it will be easier to register the google account from your computer.

If you can log in on your PC but cant on the phone then make sure you are not mistakenly picking up a capital letter in the wrong place, case sensitive PSW & USR name.
